Looking back 60 years, this is the team photo of the Slauson Junior High School 1959 football team. Three years later, the 1962 Ann Arbor High team was awarded the State Champion Trophy by Detroit Free Press sports writer Hal Schram. Five players from the 1959 Slauson team were members of the ’62 state champion team.
